Day 10 Villarrica - Seven Lakes Route - Villarrica (236 Km.)
That day we wanted to enjoy the route of the 7 lakes, but we are cut off by road works and we could not complete it. The route we made was the following:
(in 27 Km.) Lican Ray and Calafquén lake: Lican Ray is on the shores of Lake Calafquén, located south of Villarrica. It is a small resort town where hundreds of tourists come every year. Emphasize the beaches of Playa Grande and Playa Chica, separated by the peninsula, a Park recreation and nature observation, with a number of coniferous trees and wildlife in the area. Their viewpoints offered an overview of Licán-Ray, the lake and islands.
(in 15 Km.) Coñaripe: It is a small town located 15 minutes from Lican Ray. This town is characterized by the natural beauty surrounding it, the Villarrica volcano, the lake Pellaifa and lush vegetation make this town a special place to rest and relax. In this town you can highlight the modern spa.

A glacier created the lake, and in North and South shores has steep hills. In the far east and in the mouth of the estuary Malihue there is a small beach suitable for camping. Is squeezed from north to south by cords pre-Andean mountain slopes reaching heights of 600 meters and 1300 meters, part of which retain the native forest or are covered by renovales and shrub species. The entrance is by the lake shore where there is also a southwest beach. Near this place there is a Tourist Complex, which has an indoor pool with whirlpool spa and outdoor swimming pools (Termas de Coñaripe).
(in 15 Km.) Carririñe valley: We arrived at Carririñe to take the road to Lake Neltume. The road is full of holes. After a few kilometers ahead, that road is cut, so we have to undo all the way and go to Panguipulli on the other side. It was just over four hours lost. We come back through Calafquén and continue by a road in a not very good state but very beautiful, which is bordering the Calafquén lake on the south bank, near the riverside of the Pullinque lake and next to a hydroelectric plant.
