Travel to the Black Forest

Day 8 Todtnau

(in 27 Km.) Todtnau: We drove to our last visit in the Black Forest. We were attracted by two tourist attractions in this village: The Hasenhorn Rodelbahn and the Hangloch-Wasserfall. The first one was closed (we were late). The Hasenhorn Rodelbahn is a mountain coaster that runs down the mountainside. Is much greater than that that we ride in Mehliskopf. You must go up with chairlift to the top and from there down with a bobsleigh along the rails. The total length of the railed track you go down the slope is 2.9 kilometers.

The waterfall Todtnauer (Todtnauer Wasserfall), also called Hangloch-Wasserfall, is among Todtnauberg and Aftersteg, two villages belonging to Todtnau. We access it by the bottom. There is a parking lot next to the road L126 (GPS: 47.842344,7.933009). From the car park there is a path practically flat in just 500 meters reaches the base of the waterfall. From there is a path to climb to the top of the waterfall.
